This blog takes a broad approach to these topics, offering the reader advice and information on a bit of everything. However, the main focus of this blog is on travel writing, particularly on how to become a travel writer. Unlike other travel writing blogs, this travel writing blog will focus on the realities of both becoming and being a travel writer.
It isn’t easy to become a travel writer and, even after you become a travel writer, it’s still not easy. Being a travel writer, when done professionally, is a job. And like any job, travel writing has its fair share of positives and negatives, ups and downs. For instance, if your job is to be a freelance travel writer and for vacation you tend to travel, does that mean that a travel writer never gets to take a vacation?
