Law Firm Website Design Part II

When it comes to attorney website design, the Golden Rule is this: Keep It Simple Stupid.

In other words, although you want your law firm website to look nice and grab the viewer’s attention, you don’t want the essential information to get lost in the flash. Ask yourself such things as:

Is your contact information prominently displayed on every page of the attorney website?

Does the law website state what your specialty areas are?

Can the viewer easily tell what sets you apart? What your qualifications are?

Is the law firm website easy to navigate from one page to another?

Remember: The purpose of your law firm website is to sell, not to intimidate.

Staying Visible: Behind the Scenes

Staying visible doesn’t all happen on the actual law website itself. Half of staying visible actually occurs behind the scenes.

Successful search engine marketing means more than just SEO content keywords, it also means strategically using such search engine optimization tools as title tags, alt tags, mega tags and various HTML code elements. Another essential behind the scenes search engine optimization tool that ensures your law firm website stays visible is links – the more links you have connecting your website to other quality websites the more relevant your law firm website will be.

Use Klenske, Ink. Search Engine Marketing services to improve your legal website’s behind the scenes search engine optimization.

Staying Visible (Part III)

As you regularly update your law firm website in order to stay visible with the search engines, the key is to integrate keywords into your attorney website content. Keywords are the key to search engine optimization. When creating keyword rich SEO content, be sure to keep in mind these three things:

1. The broader the better. When working on search engine optimization of a website, remember that non-attorneys are your targeted audience. Thus, do not use SEO content keywords that only an attorney would use. Instead, target a variety of keywords. For example, use attorney and lawyer or car crash and personal injury. The result will be that your law firm website has more search engine appeal and thus better results.

2. Think local. Although on the one hand you want your law firm website to be broad, you also want your search engine optimization to be focused. By this we mean the focus should be on your city or state (or states depending on where you are licensed). The narrower your geographic location, the better search engine optimization performance your law firm website will have.

3. Keep it Simple Stupid. Yes, keywords are essential, but don't overdo the search engine optimization. Your SEO content has to be interesting to read, otherwise visitors will just pass by before heading to an attorney website that has more relevant information.

Law Firm Search Engine Optimization: Content is King

Once you have your law search engine optimization keywords, the next step is to work them into your law website. The way to do this is with law firm search engine optimization content.

The more SEO law copywriting content your law firm website has about the law firm search engine optimization keyword, the more relevant your site will be. Adding law search engine optimization content, or SEO law copywriting content, to your law website means nothing more than writing keyword specific articles and placing them throughout your law website.

Keyword SEO law copywriting content serves two purposes. Not only does it convince the search engine that your law firm website is relevant, it also provides the visitor with valuable information that will entice them to contact you. Thus, when developing your law firm search engine optimization keyword content, you want to make sure it serves both purposes.

A good keyword SEO law copywriting content article will use three or four law search engine optimization keywords on a repetitive basis. After all, the more times the keywords appear in a given article the more relevant your law website becomes. However, there is a fine line between a good SEO law copywriting content article and poor law firm search engine optimization marketing. If, for example, the article overuses a SEO law copywriting keyword to the point the only purpose of it is to feature the SEO law copywriting keyword, the reader will gain nothing and the law firm search engine optimization article looses its attorney marketing appeal. Further, blatant overuse of SEO law copywriting keywords may get your law firm website penalized by the search engines, or even permanently removed.

In summary, a good SEO law copywriting keyword content article is tightly focused, informative, reader-friendly and focuses on law search engine optimization. SEO law copywriting content is the easiest method for optimizing your law website, as there really is no limit on the content that can be placed on a website. Further, such add-ons as a blog, and a newsletter can also be used to increase SEO law copywriting content.
